What “BhoomiShakti Verified” Actually Means
We know farmers rely on trust signals to decide who to call. So we're upfront about exactly what this badge checks — and what it deliberately does not claim.
What gets checked
Identity confirmed
The business owner's identity and the business's physical location or service area have been confirmed by the BhoomiShakti team.
Contact details verified
The phone number and/or WhatsApp number listed have been checked to be reachable and belong to the business.
Active listing
The business has an active, complete profile with a description, category and at least one way for farmers to make contact.
Agrees to BhoomiShakti's honesty policy
The business has agreed not to post fabricated prices, fake reviews, or misleading claims on its BhoomiShakti listing.
What it does NOT mean
- Government approval, licensing, or certification of any kind.
- A guarantee of product quality, service quality, or pricing.
- An endorsement of the business by BhoomiShakti or any government body.
- A promise that every transaction with this business will go smoothly.
Always use your own judgement, ask questions, and confirm prices, quantities and quality before paying or taking delivery — whether or not a business is Verified.
Verification Stages
A business moves through these stages as our team reviews it. Only “Verified” shows the public badge — every other stage is visible only to BhoomiShakti and the business itself.
Pending
The business has been listed but verification checks haven't started yet.
Under Review
The BhoomiShakti team is actively checking identity, contact details and profile completeness.
Verified
All checks in the list on the left have passed. The Verified badge is shown publicly.
Rejected
One or more checks failed. The business can update its profile and reapply.
Expired
A previous Verified status has lapsed and needs to be refreshed by our team.
